The little princesses are 7 weeks old today (or 35 gestational weeks). I feel like we are starting on the home stretch. About 4 more weeks and they should be coming home. They had another great week.
Adalyn went to nasal prongs but was only on them for a day before she went back to cpap. It was nice to see her little face and hair again. Other than that, she had a pretty uneventful week. She still loves to snuggle and seems to enjoy visits from us. A nurse one night fed her about 1/2 her feed from a bottle but she wasn't supposed to because Adalyn is still on her cpap and it can cause choking. Luckily she did well with the bottle.

Alivia went to nasal prongs for the 6th time.... and she stayed on them! She is doing really well on the prongs. With so few cords it is hard to not steal her and take her home! She also got a bath this week. At first she cried when she was getting put in the little tub but then she calmed right down and really enjoyed herself. It looked like she was having a relaxing day at the spa. She reached another milestone this week. Without the cpap she started bottle feeding. They started slow but this morning she took her full feed in a bottle. Good girl! We love looking at her chubby little cheeks and snuggling her, but when she is done snuggling she squirms and fusses until you put her back in bed.

Love these girls!

Oh what CUTE little munchkins you have!! I am so glad they are doing so well, and 4 weeks is not much time at all when you really think about it! Yay!!! We continue to pray for their health and success! We love you Jamie and Aden and Alivia and Adalyn!! Keep up the great work!
I can't believe how big they are getting. I love seeing their little faces, they are precious. How exciting that Alivia stayed on the nasal prongs! It seems that Adalyn isn't too far behind either. All of these prayers and love from two amazing parents is paying off. :D
They are getting so cute. 4 weeks is going to go by so fast. What is that orange thing in Alivia's mouth. Is it a binki?
I'm dying they are so cute! So happy they had a good week.
I totally agree, they are beyond adorable. I just showed Derek the pictures and he loves how the tubing smashes all that delicious chubby cheekness up... GOOD BABIES! Always in our prayers...
